Who is this chick?

Hi there! I’m Hannah Magy, a Chicago-based comedian, actress, and writer. Online, I share original character content with a wonderful growing community of 53K Instagram followers. There you'll find everything from the personification of Chicago streets to a spot-on Lois Griffin impression! I’m proudly represented by Grossman & Jack Talent for voiceover and on-camera acting, so please feel free to reach out to them with any exciting auditions you'd like to send my way.

These days, you can catch me performing with Joystick (iO Theater’s resident sketch team), improvising with Feast, producing the all-fem gossip-improv troupe JUICY, or taking the stage as half of the musical comedy duo Jaffe & Magy. My live solo work is a lot of fun too, ranging from comedic burlesque to zany character pieces!

Before this, I had the privilege of understudying for both The Second City’s ETC and Mainstage productions, as well as performing in signature shows at The Annoyance Theatre. On the creative business side, I interned with Steppenwolf Theatre Company’s Lookout Producing Department and co-founded TeaseAndResist.com, a local satirical writing platform. 

On a personal note, my ultimate dream role is playing Barbra Streisand in a biopic about her life. If you happen to have that connection, let’s make it happen!
